Language point:
1.Everybody has to eat,but do you eat a healthy diet?
diet和food的區別:
diet和food都可有“食物”的意思。但diet 指的是習慣的食物或規定的食物,特指維持健康的食物,如病人的療養食物。
food是一般指凡能吃能喝的具有營養的東西,是不可數名詞;但表示種類時是可數名詞。
The doctor has ordered me a special diet.
Too many sweet foods will make you fat.
即學活用:
The doctor put him on a (diet) to keep thinner.
We have (food) to live,but not live to eat.
The patient mustn't go without (food),but she should have a (diet) without sugar.
2.Food that provides energy.
供應能量的食物。
provide vt.提供;供應;給予
provide ,supply,offer都有“提供”之意,但它們在搭配上有區別:
provede/supply sb. with sth.
procide sth. for sb.
supply sth. to sb.
offer sb. sth/offer sth. to sb.

energy n.能量,能源(不可數名詞)精力,活力。
詞語辨析:

force 指物理學意義上的力,還常指武力
strength “體力”
