Harry has written about his collection of postcards.
I collect postcards.I started the collection two years ago.
Now I have over 100 different postcards.Some show famous places of interest.Some show great works of art.My favourite postcards is from the UK,It has a picture of Big Ben on it.
It is easy to get postcards.Friends send them to each other for holidays or birthdays.
I like collecting postcards.They are beautiful and teach me a lot about different places.

My Collection
I collect snow globes.I started the collection five years ago.
Now I have more than 200 different snow globes.The first one I ever got was a birthday cake snow globe on my seventh birthday.I love globes with animals.I have a big one with bears in it and another one with penguins.
I'd like to start a snow globe collectors'club.

Yesterday was Show and Tell Day at Daniel's school.
Daniel was the first student to speak,He showed his classmates an old stamp.
"My father gave me this fist stamp,"said Daniel.
"It has a picture of an old Chinese stone bridge on it.This made me more interestes in Chinese culture.Soon I started to look for more stamps with interesting pictures."
"Now I have over 100 stamps."said Daniel."I learnt a lot about our country and its great culture from the stamps!Collecting stamps is really educational"

make vt.
做;制造;建造
瑪麗做了一只紙船。
Mary made a paper boat.
使得;使...做...
這消息使約翰激動。
The news made John excited.
他的笑話把我們都逗笑了。
His jokes made us all laugh.
4.I started to look for more stmaps with interesting pictures.
look for意為“尋找”,是有目的地找,強調“尋找”這一動作。
如:你在找什么?
--What are you looking for?
--I'm looking for my bike.
find意為“找到”“發現”,強調“找”的結果,其賓語往往是某個丟失的東西或人。
如:--Did you find Li Ming yesterday?
    --No,we looked for him everywhere,but didn't find him.
5.Collecting stamps is really educational.
動詞做主語用動詞的現在分詞形式。現在分詞做主語表示事物化,抽象化的概念。
強調:現在分詞做主語時謂語一律用單數。
如:吃蔬菜對我們的身體有好處。
Eating vegetable is good for our health.
學好英語是不容易的。
