后面可以跟名詞、代詞做賓語動詞不定式的復合結構、動詞ing形式和賓語從句（從句中謂語動詞用虛擬語氣should+do,should可以省略）
This suggestion requires careful thought.

The floor requires (cleaning).
His health requires that he (should) go to bed early.
2.Many people look down upon poor people.
掌握以下與look有關的短語：

intend vt.計劃，打算
常用于以下幾個結構中：
*intend sb to do sth 打算讓某人做某事
*intend to do/doing sth 打算做某事
*be intended to do sth/for sth 是用來...
intend 后跟賓語從句時，從句中謂語動詞使用should+do 虛擬形式，should 可以省略
*had intened to do sth=intended to have done sth本打算做
We intened him (to set out) at once.
I intended that he (do)it at once.
The book(is itended for )beginners.
這本書專為初學者而編。

*hit 表示“突然想起”，主語往往指物，賓語指人
A good idea hit me when I woke up this morning.
*hit 表示達到、碰到、猜中 You've hit it.你猜中了。
*hit 使遭受（自然災害損失，痛苦）
An earthquake hit the city.
*hit 打，碰撞 hit sb on the head 打某人的頭
*hit 作名詞時，表示“轟動或風行一時的人或物”

本句是強調句型，強調的是句子中的主語部分。它的基本結構是it be+被強調部分+that/who+其它，可以用來強調除謂語動詞之外的任何句子成分。學習該句型時要注意其本身的變化，以及強調句型的特殊問句形式，作賓語從句時的語序問題和被強調部分后跟定語從句的情況。
