1.A boy is lying at the bottom of the stairs.
at the bottom of 表示“在.....的底部”。
e.g.A village lies at the bottom of the hill.
2.He is in pain.
in pain 的意思是“處在疼痛之中”。
e.g.Are you still in pain?
3.First of all,find out what's wrong with him.
frist of all 表示“首先”。
e.g.First of all,let me tell you the news.
find out 通常表示“弄明白,搞清楚,查明.....”。
e.g.Did the teacher find out who broke the door?
What's wrong with...?表示“....怎么了?”
e.g.--What's wrong with the boy?
    --He broke his leg.
4.But he could have trouble hearing you or
speaking to you.
句中could表示推測。
e.g.You could be right.
have trouble doing sth.的意思是“做.....有困難”。
e.g.Maria has trouble finding a job and is still
staying at home.
5.Lift him up and sit him on a chair.
lift up 表示“抬起,提起”。要把代詞放在中間。
e.g.We'll have to lift up the car to get her out.
6.Make sure he's warm.
make sure的意思是“確保,保證”。
e.g.Make sure you turn off  all the lights before you
go out.

such...that...這個句型表達“如此......以至于......”的意思,
such后面接名詞,名詞前可以有形容詞修飾。如果只有形容詞或副詞,
則要使用so...that....這一句型。
e.g.It is such a tiny kitchen that only one person can
cook in it.
They are such nice people that we all like them.
He was so weak that he could hardly stand up.
Everything happened so quickly that I hadn't time to think.

      英語句子重讀規則
一、重讀一般規則如下:
1.實詞重讀   2.虛詞弱讀

 實詞的種類  例如  在句子中是否重讀
                    本身具有意義的詞          
 主要動詞  sell,give,employ  重讀
 名詞  Car,music,Mary  重讀
 形容詞 Red,big,interesting  重讀
 副詞  Quickly,loudly,never  重讀
 否定助動詞  Don't,aren't,can't  重讀

 
 虛詞的種類  例如  在句子中是否重讀
                   為語法而存在的詞       
 代詞  he,we,they
 介詞  on,at,into  
 冠詞  a,an,the  
 連詞  and,but,because
 助動詞  do,he,have,can,must  

二、特殊規則:
1.但是有時候根據需要也要重讀個別虛詞。如:
1.There've been to Mongolia,haven't they?
  No,THEY haven't,but WE have.
2此外,Be即使是主要動詞,也不應當重讀。
3.根據句子所要表達的側重意思確定重讀的詞。

Now,you are a doctor,what should you do to people
to give proper first aid?
1.If the person is not breathing.
  A.You must try to start his/her breathing at once.
2.If the person is bleeding badly.
  B.You should hold up the part of the body which is bleeding.
3.If the person loses one third of his blood.
  C.You should try to stop the bleeding.
4.If someone is badly hurt.
  D.You mustn't move him,you must get help.
5.If the person can breathe weakly.
  E.You should open the mouth and take the food out at
the back of the mouth if any.

First aid donesn't take long to learn but can help to
save lives.
    55% of deaths caused by road accidents occur in the first
few minutes after a crash.Up to 85% of these deaths could be
prevented if first aid was given.

              祈使句
一、定義:
   祈使句表達說話人對對方的叮囑、勸告、希望、禁止、建議
、請求或命令等。
二、祈使句的特征:
   以動詞原形開頭,無時態和數的變化。
三、祈使句的句型:
1.動詞原形構成的祈使句
    通常省略主語you,謂語動詞用原形。否定句由don't或never
開頭。祈使句的句首或句末有時加please.
2.let構成的祈使句
    由“Let+me/us/him/her+動詞原形”構成。這類祈使句往往用于
請求允許(let us)或提出建議(let's)。
例如:
Let's spend this weekend in the countryside.
Let him be here by ten o'clock.
3.無動詞祈使句
    在請求,命令和口號中,常用無動詞祈使句,它實際上是
省略了動詞,從而使語句更簡潔有力。
例如:
Just a minute,please!
在一些指示牌上,常用“No+動名詞/名詞”構成省略的否定祈使句。
例如:No smoking!
